color block nails: do it yourself

another great trend = color blocking. the inspiration for this manicure was mainly from the american apparel leather pouches with the neon paint strip at the bottom, of which i’ve seen quite a few variations circulating. and i am particularly fond of the neutral + neon color combo hence the reason for this tutorial. i hope you like it!
Ah the things you can do with a little Scotch tape, creativity, and colorful lacquer. ;) I’m really digging this color combo, by the way, Kristina! My complexion is very pale and ruddy, so I can never pull off lots of browns and bright reds, but I think coating my nails in these shades is something I can definitely swing. I also think every time I looked at my nails I would want to eat them (which is awesome by my estimate), because they’d look like chocolate-dipped fruit.
