dolce & gabbana inspired pumps: do it yourself

so apparently i was not done with these yet. my apologies, but because i was inspired by dolce & gabbana’s fall 2011 rtw collection and have lots of gems laying around, i just had to add them onto these glitter pumps. as a designer i’m constantly editing because my natural tendency is to keep tweaking and fussing. but because of the more is more phenomenon of late, i am not quite as concerned with it. okay i’m done.

OMG!! I couldn’t believe my eyes! This pair is so awsome! The emerald gems make those already gorgeous pair another interesting twist…so very elegant, and I’ve never seen any pumps so unique as these! You are such an artist..so precise, and in this case, you’ve added a huge punch! Just gorgeous!

Haha, but you can never be done, Kristina. ;) That is the creator’s curse…Your heels look so lovely, and the Dolce and Gabbana designs that inspired them actually remind me of a pair of golden, glittery flip-flops I owned in college. They were covered in giant, plastic jewels and glitter everywhere and I adored them for their gaudy/more-is-more look. I actually think your latest addition to your constantly evolving heels look perfect. I don’t think they’re too much whatsoever. ;) Wishing you a fabulous holiday, friend! -Jennifer
