can you believe the photographic work of dina goldstein? i cannot. dina describes the concept as “examining the less than perfect life of b + k. b is a super doll, the most successful doll in the world. her partner k is grappling with his sexuality and finds himself in a loveless marriage. he struggles with his position in the household and faces his lack of authenticity.”
don’t you think that b looks a bit like gretchen rossi from the real housewives of orange county? oh and i noticed that i used to have the same mirror as the one in the 2nd photo in the bathroom. you know, the plastic one à la sears from childhood? gosh i’m on such a barbie doll kick lately! check out more of goldstein’s work here.
