this movie is like a walk down memory lane for me because i’m a 90′s kid. it’s one of the most inspiring films of my generation with regards to fashion i think. and i love amy heckerling’s style in the way that she writes and directs. other great films by heckerling include fast times at ridgemont high, european vacation and look who’s talking, all of which i also love!

I so wanted her closet and clothes when I saw this movie – as I’m sure everyone did. It’s funny to look back at some of the horrible and STILL really good fashion! Plus I’ll never forget about learning what a Monet was
Wow I love this movie and your post brought me back many scenes I loved! I agree (about the most inspiring film regards to fashion)! Thank you for sharing and now I’d love to watch this movie again soon :) xo akiko
Style Imported
Most of what I wore in 8th grade was influenced by this movie! I’ve probably seen it 200 times!
I’m so convinced to see this movie again, ever since you showed this post! I am so in love with all the lovely outfits as well!! Thanks to you I will relive my happy days again!
Fashion is tops here! I agree with you, Kristina! Awesome post!!
This and Troop Beverly Hills shaped my femininity in indescribable ways…I love it :) Awesome reminder of the gorgeous ‘fits of the mid-90s!
Hi Kristina. I absolutely love your blog. It’s so fun and so colorful. This was one of my favorite movies as well and I must have seen it 10 times or more. I recently showed it to my 12 year old and she loved it as well. My other favorite movies of the 80’s and 90’s are, Fast Times (classic), Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, The Breakfast Club and St. Elmo’s Fire. I know there are more, but those are off the top of my head.
