that web browser that you’re on right now, an engineer built that. it’s amazing how much we don’t see and are not consciously aware of isn’t it? and this is the case with many behind-the-curtain professions, unfortunately. production artists and crew members, maintenance and janitorial workers, makeup artists, costume designers, truck drivers, software engineers {especially back end developers} am i missing anyone? i’m sure there are lots more! without these people we would be nowhere. just something to ponder..

i’ve decided to get back to my roots and start drawing again. my real and first love was with pencil at the age of two, and since then i’ve never stopped. it seems for a while, we have all been on a digital kick with the influence of the tech industry, and is it just me or has there been somewhat of a creative backlash to where everything now is hand-sketched or painted? i’m not exactly sure but i’m pretty happy about it, long live the humble no. 2 pencil!
