by john hughes and one of my favorite movies. i love finding style inspiration from film, especially the older ones. my excitement is the same as when i stumble across the anonymity of a hidden gem in an antique store, because it’s not so in-your-face-out-there. molly ringwald’s bridesmaid ensemble equals simple florals + baby’s breath against a perfect pink gown.

i am thrilled to announce today’s launching of warby parker’s limited edition 1922 collection of bold eyeglasses and sunglasses. their newest line is for the night owls and good-time kids and like all of their existing collections, for every pair sold, they will be distributing a pair to someone in need through their non-profit parters. stop on by and visit warby parker for some awesome eyewear.. the porter is my personal favorite.

so it seems that cut-off jeans are back, i still have a pair of levi’s with the frayed edges from high school in fact. love these with the uber-long cardigan sweater and ballet espadrilles! it’s a great look for the more modest girls out there, liking that extra bit of coverage.
